Despite the house being located on the ocean coast, the clients didn’t want a typical coastal style and opted for bespoke and luxurious design. They set an ambitious goal for the Artistic Elements team: to design a luxurious mansion that felt truly unique, reflecting their personal style while avoiding the standard coastal look.
Solutions
This house is the result of an artistic approach to reimagining the typical beach house in Mexico. The open layout with extensive ceiling heights connects the living, dining and kitchen spaces, creating a grand experience on the interior. Also, the massive windows, intimate courtyard, extensive outdoor lounge vignettes and sliding doors connect the favorable climate and coastal views to the entire experience and serenity of this home. One of the standout features of the home is the great room ceiling, a true masterpiece. The design and craftsmanship were perfectly aligned to execute such a work of art. The organic, rippled pattern was inspired by the sand and waves, nodding to the shoreline right outside the door.
